Thanks for visiting! My name is Jennifer Grayeb. I started blogging back in 1999. I have taken breaks along the years and have had an array of personal blogs before finding a passion for Fitness, Health, and Food blogging in 2010. I started my blog She’s a Fit Chick blog for the sole purpose of getting healthy, but I also decided that being healthy didn’t mean depriving myself from everything I enjoy. I am a strong believer that those “bad” foods can be part of an overall healthy diet, in moderation. I am all about trying to find a healthy balance that does not leave me feeling deprived or depressed. The blog was a 2012 Runner Up for Fitness Magazine’s “Best Personal Trainer Blog”.
Through the years, I’ve learned a lot about social media, digital marketing, online community building, and leveraging the internet to make a living doing what you love. In 2011, I co-founded FitFluential with Kelly Olexa, to try to bridge the gap between brands and bloggers. I stepped down from my role to focus on school and pursue other opportunities. I’ve blogged and done social media for large brands like SOYJOY, and I continue to blog for Bumble Bee Tuna’s website, BeeWellForLife. I’ve worked as a Community Manager for Monster.com, Wedding Reports, and the YEC, before taking a role as a Community Manager at a Fortune 100 healthcare company.
I have a degree in English Literature from Southern Connecticut State University. I am 28 years old and currently live in Connecticut with my husband and our crazy dog, Leah. We are expecting our first child in December of 2013.
